We are a small, skilled team of craftsmen that work out of a large shed on a beautiful agroforestry property in Deans Marsh in the Surf Coast Shire, right on the edge of The Otways in Victoria.
We are Adam and Sian, running this small family business, specialising in building tiny homes and traditional timber frames.
We are passionate about building quality tiny homes that incorporate good functional design, a real charm and beauty and that give you the best value for money in the long run.
We lived in our beautiful tiny home for seven years before building a traditional timber frame strawbale home on our permaculture property that we live in now. So we really do walk our talk!
At Evergreen Homes we are builders and we are craftsmen. We care about what we create and we do it well! We love building with quality (local where possible) materials and endeavour to provide you with the best service to make your dream project come alive!
Adam Hickman
Adam started his career in construction in 2005 as a young man in the UK, specialising in traditional roofing techniques and heritage restoration and construction. After moving to Australia in 2011 with Sian, he deepened his passion for sustainable living which led him on a journey through building projects around Australia and overseas, using natural materials and sustainable and eco-friendly building techniques. He now specialises in Tiny Home construction, traditional timber framing and natural building.
